Thought for the Day
Sometimes the hardest thing to forget is the very thing that would help you survive."
Hiding the Obvious
However busy we get it is important not to forget what’s essential in our lives. Many of us think we need money, house, car or a booming career in order to tell everyone else that we are a success. life 4 me is much much simpler now than i expected. i realized i only need 3 things to survive, and i intend to hold on that till the end. Faith, Love and Hope. i can’t go on losing one.
The past 3 years, all i want and pray is for God to take me away. Everything i have and around me makes no sense at all. Most of the time i lock myself up in my room not wanting to talk to anybody. i wanted to isolate myself from everyone i know and love. and i always cry because i can’t even understand myself. No matter what i do, i always see myself as incomplete and that complicates everything, affecting every aspect of my being and shook my foundation that made me unhappy.
But came the National Women’s Congress last march and i realized that the happiest people don’t have everything they want. they make the most out of what they already have. Misery starts when a person looks at the 10% missing and overlooks the 90% blessing. We all have our own share of blessings. Some get them fast. Some wait for a long time. What’s important is, it comes at the time when we need it most. God know best and and he will give the best in His own time.
my fave song
April 20, 2008i came across this video from mtv japan and i cant help but to love this song..
…
i havn’t any mansion
i havn’t any land
not a paper dollar to crinkle in my hand
but i can show you mornings on a thousand hills
and kiss you and give you seven daffodils.
